A meeting of the Trade Facilitation and Export Development Commission of the Yazd Chamber of Commerce was held with the presence of the President’s Economic Advisor. During the session, the province’s economic actors emphasized the necessity of reforming export mechanisms and providing effective support for the private sector.

The President of the Yazd Chamber of Commerce stated that the private sector’s share in the country’s industry is limited, noting that pressures arising from foreign exchange obligations and rigid regulations have made exporters’ activities difficult and led to the spread of one-time-use business cards.

Later, the President’s Economic Advisor, emphasizing the 14th government’s supportive approach toward the private sector, announced the formation of a five-member committee to follow up on the province’s economic demands. He also stressed the importance of addressing challenges related to foreign exchange, exports, and financing for Yazd’s production units.

The Nik Yazd Industrial and Investment Development Group, as one of the active private sector organizations, also participated in the meeting and underscored the need for constructive cooperation between the government and economic actors to improve the business environment.
