Yazd Entrepreneurs Hold Consultative Meeting with Head of Iran Trade Promotion Organization to Address Currency and Trade Challenges

A group of entrepreneurs and economic stakeholders from Yazd Province held a consultative meeting with Dr. Mohammad Dehghan Dehnavi, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and Head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, to discuss key challenges related to foreign trade, exports, and currency regulations.

During the meeting, participants addressed several important issues, including challenges arising from foreign exchange commitments, barriers to barter trade, difficulties related to the import of solar panels, and obstacles affecting the implementation of economic and development projects in Yazd Province.

The attendees outlined the concerns of business owners and economic actors while also presenting proposals and practical solutions aimed at facilitating trade processes, improving the business environment, supporting exporters, and expanding economic activities.

Among those present at the meeting were Mehdi Karam Panah, Mohammad Taghi Khaleghieh, Seyed Ali Mohammad Abouei, Mohammad Shahvazian, Seyed Hamid Kalantari, Seyed Mohammad Hosseini, Beshmari, Saman Sadeghian, and Ali Shahvazian, who shared their perspectives on the economic challenges and opportunities facing the province.

Dr. Dehghan Dehnavi also outlined the Trade Promotion Organization’s policies and programs for removing trade barriers, supporting economic stakeholders, and promoting exports, emphasizing the importance of continued engagement between the private sector and decision-making institutions.

Participants highlighted the importance of maintaining such consultative meetings, describing them as an effective mechanism for identifying and addressing challenges in the fields of trade, production, and economic development.
