Islamic Azad University of Yazd Province achieved a remarkable milestone at the 11th Farhikhtegan Festival by earning the title of “Top Province” among more than 400 university branches across Iran. The university’s outstanding performance in science, research, innovation, and technology further strengthened its position as one of the country’s leading academic institutions.
According to the Public Relations Office of Islamic Azad University of Yazd, the festival was held on the anniversary of the university’s establishment, with the participation of Dr. Bijan Ranjbar, President of Islamic Azad University, members of the university’s board, researchers, innovators, and academic elites from across the country.
During the event, Islamic Azad University of Yazd showcased four innovative technological products and secured seven top national awards in various scientific, research, and innovation categories.
Four Innovative Products Showcased
As part of its commitment to innovation and industry collaboration, the university presented four technological products at the exhibition accompanying the festival. These included an instant grain beverage powder developed under the leadership of Mohammad Ali Shayeq, specialized hygiene and cleaning products based on micelle technology by Padideh Gharn Isatis Company, and two traffic infrastructure products — a stone traffic separator and a ceramic road stud — developed by Tolou Abr Sayna Company.
These achievements highlight the university’s growing role in technological development, commercialization of knowledge, and support for knowledge-based enterprises.
